We were so lucky to not only get grandma and grandpa to come visit for Halloween weekend, but cousin Luke and Auntie Karrie came too!
Cousins Melissa and Luke so excited to meet again.

I went simple for Melissa's costume this year since she wasn't going trick-or-treating.
A sweet ghost for my sweet girl.
My first attempt at making a tu-tu...I like tricky to get it going, takes a while to tie it, but I hope I'll get better at it as the years go on.
Blake wanted to be a Monster Skeleton.
Hum, not sure about the monster part, but the skeleton part we pulled off.
Tate was a Kangaroo thanks to grandma sending that costume over.
Tate stayed nice and warm trick or treating.
Ryan wanted to be a ghost.
A nice ghost.
Blake and Tate said the Holy Ghost:) since He's a nice ghost.
Luke joined in on the candy gathering fun as a parrot until he decided a nap would be better.
The carving of the pumpkins happened the week before Halloween.
John did the cleaning of the pumpkins and I did the carving.
Blake wanted a scary face.
Ryan told me shapes for his pumpkin face.
Melissa let me choose.
Tate said to surprise him.
He got a Boo pumpkin.
Our community put on a Halloween party at the library Thursday night before Halloween.
It was packed with kiddos in costumes playing all kinds of fun games.
The boys loved the prized they got after each game.
Against my normal cheapness, we paid to do the cake walk.
Karrie even jumped in to better our odds.
Four of us out of 10 numbers.
I thought we had pretty good odds of winning.
We did!
Blake and Ryan both won that round.
Blake picked out a homemade vanilla cake and Ryan chose skeleton cupcakes.
So many yummy treats!
We also went to the park since the weather was still nice.
Luke shared his new hat from great-aunt Robin with Melissa.
Our little pumpkin head.
I think Lukey likes the swings!
Blake is so good at pumping himself now thanks to his friend Leah for showing him how.
Grandpa is also a good sharer and let Blake wear his cool hat.
Grandpa taught Ryan how to twist in the swing.
We keep it simple for Halloween dinner with a Papa Murphy's pumpkin shaped pizza.
The real treat was the orange soda someone "Booed" us with and had been in our fridge for a week or so waiting for this night!
Blake is so sweet with the little ones.
Yay, for grandma and grandpa coming for a visit!
We love them.
We Skyped with Uncle David before taking off to trick or treat.
It ended up raining on and off through out the evening trick or treating.
John and my dad hung out in the van following along while I took the boys around.
Luke got tired and so Karrie, Melissa, and my mom were the candy passer-outers.
The boys weren't really into sorting their candy.
Tate was super excited to answer the door and pass out candy.
Blake just wanted to eat the candy.
Ryan didn't care that the adults were sorting and eating the candy for them!
You got the right idea Luke!
