Watch Blake Grow

Blake turned 5 months on Sunday! The older he gets, the more of his personality we are starting to see. Here are some things about Blake at 5 months:
1. Obviously, he's the cutest little guy around! My prediction is that Blake is going to be even taller than Tate (we're grateful for the "tall genes" from the Krohn side of the family-I hope all our children get those genes). Blake is still in the 90% for his measurements. The outfit he is wearing in this picture is 12 months. This little guy is definitely not so little anymore.
2. Blake has 2 bottom teeth already. I couldn't believe it when those teeth popped through. It's hard to see the teeth in the picture, but if you stick your finger in his mouth he'll give you a good bite! We are trying new solid foods-rice cereal, he didn't like. Bananas and applesauce he is liking though. At this point, I don't think much actually makes it to his stomach b/c there is always a lot all over his face and clothes!
3. Blake is doing better with Tummy Time. Still won't tolerate it for much more than a few minutes, but he scoots towards toys and kicks his legs like he's trying to roll over. Keeping his eyes on the prize. He loves chewing on those link rings and
getting his hands stuck in them.
4. Blake is my buddy! He loves being a part of whatever is going on. Blake always prefers to be held then put in the Bumbo. My arms are getting a good workout:) Blake is not so wobbly now and sits just right on my hip. 5. I don't have a picture of this, but Blake sure knows how to let John and I know what he wants when he cries. He'll let you know he wants attention now or out of the Bumbo now, by this very distinctive cry he has. I'd say it is a cross between a cry and yell. Like he's saying, "hey, don't forget about me over here!" Not like we could ever forget about him, but he does sometimes have to wait his turn.
6. Tate is doing better being a nice big brother to Blake. Tate likes helping put Blake's binky in, helping give Blake his bottle, Tate even occasionally will share his blanky with Blake
(that is saying a lot!).

Sure takes me back to when our children were young. It seems like a hundred years ago and yet only yesterday. It's interesting looking at your Blake and Trina's Blake. They're both big boys but totally different. Wish there were a way to get them together at the reunion; it would be fun.

He is a cutie. We must have a string of big boy genes hidden in our family line. Jensen is huge too. Your boys are adorable!
