This Summer

So, this summer has been an interesting one. I never would have thought Seattle would see such record temperatures. It was awful! 110 degrees-no one should have to suffer through that with no AC. Good thing we have grandparents who are more prepared than we are, and let Tate and I camp out up there in the AC. John had to suffer through it and work at home. Not much of anything was going that week, b/c I was just too darn hot to even think about getting up from in front of the fan! Now that has passed and the typical weather is back (that goodness!). We are enjoying cloudy skies with a chance of rain:) Here's an update on Tate. He is going through this attachment to his clothes and shoes. It is so weird?! He acts like we are killing him trying to change him out of his PJs and you can't even think about taking those shoes off. It's a new kind of tantrum. So, he usually is sporting some interesting new "look." Tate still into trying to fit into small spaces, now he just is getting more adventerous and trying higher up things.
A couple of John's sisters came into town and we were lucky enough to get them to come over for a BBQ with his parents. This was the first time Tate got to meet his cousin Asher (Laurie and Andy's baby). Tate was giving Asher a nice "love pat."
