This year we wanted to make sure The Dad knew how much we love and appreciate all he does for us. So we celebrated Dad all week long doing something special for him each day.
We took a shot buying him a new tie...he loved the gum:)
We got crafty and put together this picture for John to take to work.
He loved it and the lemon meringue pie for dessert!
We went to our neighbors a little while ago and they had a little fire pit we roasted smores in. John thought it was the coolest thing and thought we needed one. We tried to surprise him, but he saw it in the van before I could hide it. He acted surprised when we gave it to him and the boys had so much fun roasting hotdogs and making smores. It was the fun part of camping without all the work!
YUMMY.
The boys put their coloring skills to work again and drew some pictures for dad to surprise him when he got home from work.
Everyone needs a little snack after a long day.
We did something we don't often do with all the boys...we took him out to dinner to Red Robin.
We got to sit outside which the boys loved and balloons topped off the evening.
John's favorite breakfast is waffles with strawberries and whipped cream.
Tate decided to go the extra mile and wanted to make homemade icecream to go along with the waffles. John didn't complain! It was quite a breakfast feast.
The boys have the best dad and we love him!
