I love pictures of all my boys together.
Even if it does mean sticking out tongues and rolling eyes until we get one decent shot.
Yes, that is a death grip on Ryan shoulder by Tate.
I guess Tate wanted to get a good picture too.
Sunday's are even more busy then usual with John commuting back and forth to Spokane.
Sunday is his day to pack-up, do paperwork for the upcoming week and then church and off to the airport.
Knowing there would be a lot going on we didn't stress about doing too much...just simple ways to tell John we love him and think he is a great dad!
I had got cupcakes from NY Cupcakes on Saturday to celebrate the special day, but they melted on the way home:( We ate those Saturday night in a pre-Father's Day celebration and went to Plan B.
Rootbeer Floats.
Can't go wrong with those.
Blake was having a moment of being really tired and ready for bed and so he didn't want to participate in the fun.
Just cry on the ground and not put his jammies on.
John did he best to be silly and got a smile out of Blake.
After a dinner of tacos (John's favorite) and rootbeer floats, kisses and hugs from the boys,
we said bye-bye until the next weekend when dad will be home again.
John's Best "Dad" Qualities:
- Tells the best night-time stories including things like Trenchbull, Evil Weevil, boogers, pirates, and golden eggs.
- Big enough for three boys to wrestle on.
- Silly. Makes goofy faces and noises when the boys are sad or grumpy.
- Will take them to the park every time they ask.
- Jumps on the trampoline with them. Knows it is important for them to get their wiggles out.
- Does his Home Teaching without complaining and lets Tate come along.
- Teaching them to do push-ups and sit-ups. (We want healthy kids!)
- Kills spiders.
- Tell the boys he loves them. All. the. time.
