Spring Break

We welcomed Spring Break with rain.

Cold weather.

Sometimes a partial sun-break.

True or not, it seemed like endless gray skies and rain.

We had to get out because this mom was about to go crazy cooped-up inside another day!

To the zoo we went!

After our last successful trip to the zoo (me and all these boys by myself), I was confident we could have another good trip with just me herding these crazies.

Our first stop is the aquarium--warmth!

I'm  happy to stay there and watch those sharks swim back and forth, back and forth as long as we can.

They are working on finishing up a new exhibit for stingrays. 

That will be cool to see the next time we go. 

This trip by far Ryan had the best time!

He was so excited to see every animal.

He found this bird in the grass and was happy to just sit there and point at it and smile! 

The crowds weren't a problem...even with it being Spring Break.

We were happy to enjoy the play area pretty much to ourselves:)

The boys found Big Bird's Nest and made themselves at home. 

We enjoyed some lunch with the Lemurs... 

and thought it was pretty cool the send-off we got from the peacock.
