Blake's Big Day

I think this will probably be one of the only times we are early for church. No matter how hard we try to get there, it is never on time. But, there's nothing like being a part of the program to keep John up at night and motivate us to move faster in the morning. Luckily, we had Auntie Karrie over and she helped get Tate moving. We were up, dressed, fed and out the door in record time. A little too fast. I forgot to grab to "Sunday Bag" (with Blake's bottle in it). Nothing like rushing back home after the blessing to grab the bottle in hopes of getting back before creating a huge scene when Blake realizes he's hungry and the bottle isn't there. I think I made it back just before the fussing was going to start. It was great seeing John in the full suit (that happens about once a year) and he did a great job blessing our little boy. We're lucky to have family so willing to wake up super early to come down and be a part of this day. We were sad to be missing Grandma Krohn and hope she is feeling better! She sent along some cute booties for Blake you can almost see in the picture.

Attempting a couple pictures before church while we had Karrie to take them.
I was trying to get some pictures with Tate. My bribbing efforts totally didn't work. Usually he'll do anything for a lolli pop, but he just took this one and ran. He was too excited to be outside and digging in the dirt to worry about pictures.
It was a great day for a blessing!
