First time in Nursery

Last week was Tate's first official time to be in nursery the entire time without "parental supervision." John and I hung out the first 10 minutes or so and everything seemed to be fine. Tate did get a little upset when we snuck out, but we peeked through the window and he seemed fine. It was a happy afternoon, being able to go to Gospel Doctrine together and third hour without having to chase Mr. Tate around. At the end of church, John goes to get Tate.

Well, apparently he pretty much screamed the entire time-sad! I thought for sure he would transition well considering he spends lots of time with other people. I saw the nursery leader as I was leaving and got the same report. She said Tate should be exhausted. The picture above was the scene when we got home from church. He was so funny. He layed his little blanky down on the kitchen floor and closed his eyes. (Not sure what the wet spots are on his pants?) The nap didn't last too long, but bedtime came early that day. We are headed to church shortly, and I'm hoping this week goes better than last week.
