Look at me!

Just recently has Tate started climbing and literally getting into things. It's funny to watch his face when he climbs on top of his toy box, because he is definitely so happy with himself for getting up there all by himself. But, when he climbs in say the cupboard drawer, it's more a look of 'am I in trouble for being here.' Yes, sir! This storage shelf is on its last leg anyway, so this is an okay hidding place. Tate loves to take the books and movies in and out of here.
This basket is one we use to store his toys in. Notice no toys in it though. He likes to dump them ALL out including the nice fabric liner and climb in. I didn't mind him in here until he started pulling apart the bottom of the basket. That's a no-no.

I think this is a perfect 'what's wrong with me being in here' look. It's already a bit crowded without a Mr. Tate trying to make room. Oh, how the messes are getting more and more to clean up.

You do know that any large dressers and bookcases, etc. should be anchored against the wall---when you have a climber like that! Reminds me of the "good old days!"
