This year Christmas was different then we were used to.
Not in a bad way.
Just starting new traditions in our new home.
It was pretty much just us for the Christmas festivities.
Angie and Will did come over Christmas Eve and we played games and had pizza!
It was a fun way to spend the afternoon until the kiddos were ready for bed.
For the record:
the boys "Lists."
Blake's was written just as he wanted--a football, toy Christmas tree, Tablet, reindeer and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle things.
Tate's was simple at least: a drum set, Leap Pad and toy car.
I have no idea where Tate came up with a drum set. But, it is all he wanted!
Blake is ready to open his one present after Angie and her family headed home.
The boys dug in and found new jammies and a new Super Mario Brothers movie and some movie treats.
A Christmas Eve movie night!
Although, they weren't in bed quite as early as I'd hoped, the eventually all got to sleep so Santa could come.
For the past 12 days we received some really sweet gifts from our "Christmas Elves."
Each day we got part of this nativity with a nice poem that went along with each character and how they played an important part in the nativity.
We really got spoiled by this amazing family in our ward with this nativity scene and other toys and treats during the 12 days of Christmas.
The boys were so excited each night waiting for the doorbell to ring and get the bag.
I loved that Blake kept asking when baby Jesus was coming.
Baby Jesus came Christmas Eve and Blake tore open the bag and shouted "Baby Jesus is here!"
It was so cute.
Many thanks to our Christmas Elves.
