There are a number of reasons why living right next door to a high school is not our favorite thing. But, there are also some really good advantages that seem to make up for the bad reasons. Good reason #1: riding bikes on the tennis courts. When we bought our house we did not have kids and so there are some things we just didn't think about--like living on a hill. It is such a pain to ride bikes because you always have to walk the bikes up the hill or down to find some flat ground!
Tate has loved going over to the high school to ride bikes. He asks pretty much every day to go over there. It is a bit more work to load up the bikes, but worth all the great playing and riding area.
Blake had a great time getting first class treatment around the tennis courts.
There were no signs that said no sidewalk chalk and with all the rain we've been getting, I figured it would be gone by morning. John draws a really great "ugly duck."
Tate has been great about always wearing his helmet and he seems to prefer it on for all activities.
Ahhh, there's that brotherly love and sharing. Blake was coming over to get some chalk and Tate ever so nicely was telling him, "nooooooooo."
Blake is already a "well-adjusted middle child" and found something else to do.
Tate will tell you this is his bike from the "garage sale." That is correct--I love a good deal:)

How long is he going to keep the training wheels on?
