Messy Meal Time

Everything seems to be getting a bit harder/time consuming these days with Tate. Tate is never one to turn away food, so you'd think meal time wouldn't be hard and its not really-just messy. I often underestimate his reach and put the food down a bit too close and he grabs it before I even blink! His other "fun thing" is to spit and drool; he thinks that is really funny. Everything he gets in those little hands of his go directly into the mouth and he was doing a good job getting every last drop of the oatmeal this time.

Changing clothes and diapers has definitely become more of a challenge! The little squirmer won't sit still for more than 5 seconds, so changing his clothes usually happens in stages-get the old clothes off first, catch Tate b/c he's crawled off, put new socks on as he's twisting over to his tummy, chase him down again to get a new onsie on, take a break, try catching him to put the shirt on and then let him crawl around until his little knees are red from the carpet and hold him up and lower into pants! What a production.

*Maybe it's just the orange shirt and bowl that bring out his natural orange coloring?!
